Sign in with a passkey (Face ID / fingerprint) when you can; 12 words are the recovery floor and a Nostr signer works for crypto wallets. The server never sees your words — only a public key or a passkey assertion. Prefer writing words on paper if you create a new player.
Your 12 words are your account backup — not a dart-room password. They are processed only on this device and never sent to our servers. If a password manager offers to save them to the cloud, that is storing a wallet seed in the cloud.
